To offer a more flexible, reliable, and efficient housing selection process for incoming students, faculty, staff, and postdocs, Columbia Residential partnered with Columbia Facilities and Operations IT (CUFO IT) to integrate the housing selection process into the resident Housing Portal and expand the timeline for waitlisted applicants.
Columbia Residential partnered with its off-campus housing site provider Rent College Pads to host a virtual off-campus housing fair, providing students who are considering living off-campus with tips on finding an apartment, answers to frequently asked questions, and details on how to use the Off-Campus Housing Marketplace site for finding an apartment, posting a sublet, and searching for roommates.
LiveChat, a new feature available on the Columbia Residential website and Housing Portal, allows users to chat live with a team member and receive quick answers to their questions.
As you walk around the neighborhood, you may see new Building Energy Efficiency Rating signs. These new signs are part of New York City’s new benchmarking laws, which require eligible buildings across the city to measure and report their energy and water consumption annually for transparency.
