Columbia Residential Participates in Volunteer Clean-Up Event at Morningside Park

Columbia Residential staff gave back to the community on October 11 by  volunteering to clean up Morningside Park at an event organized by Residential’s Employee Engagement Committee in collaboration with the City Parks Foundation and Partnerships for Parks. A total of 19 staff members, including Residential building and office staff and colleagues from other Facilities and Operations departments, joined the effort.

The team worked in an area near Morningside Avenue and West 117th Street, where they removed weeds and invasive trees, including some over eight feet tall, and cleared garden beds to prepare for new plantings. By the end of the event, the group had filled 39 bags of debris, enjoying a productive and collaborative day outdoors while contributing to the beautification of a vital community green space.
