The team at Columbia Residential supported the addition of these lockers by creating outlets for electric service, ensuring Wi-Fi connections, and relocating lobby furniture as needed to support these updates. This service is available to building residents at no additional cost.
Lockers add another option for secure package deliveries. Additional recommendations to facilitate secure package delivery include requiring a signature upon delivery, delivering the package to a neighbor who is often home, subscribing with delivery services for text updates on your deliveries, and choosing a nearby package center as your delivery location.
The introduction of Amazon Lockers continues Columbia Residential’s focus on adding new amenities and enhancing support for residents. In recent years, Columbia Residential improved its online housing selection portal to allow prospective residents to review the apartments they are eligible for and choose their preferred unit. The team has also added a express move out option, providing a way for residents to finish their move outside of regular business hours, and they have strengthened communication with residents by introducing a Live Chat and enhancing the online work-order ticketing system.
