Off-Campus Housing

In addition to housing managed by Columbia Residential, resources are also available for members of the Columbia community who are interested in housing not owned or operated by the University or sublets available directly from residents in Columbia housing.

Off-Campus Housing Assistance (OCHA)

Columbia's Off-Campus Housing Assistance (OCHA) office is here to help Columbia affiliates in their search for rental housing in the metropolitan area. We recommend utilizing our Off-Campus Housing Marketplace, an apartment hunting tool created with the Columbia affiliate in mind. This helpful resource includes available rooms and apartments in non-Columbia-owned buildings as well as sublets of units in Columbia-managed housing. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other affiliates of Columbia University, Barnard and Teachers College may search or list. Non-affiliates may also use this service to list available apartments.

International House

Housing through International House is independent of Columbia Residential and must be requested directly through the I-House application process. For more information about the I-House application process, please contact I-House directly.
