Mail and Packages
Columbia Residential understands that reliable mail and package delivery is an important part of daily life. To help ensure that residents’ deliveries are handled smoothly and securely, the following guidelines provide key information and helpful reminders.
- A resident’s mailing address is their apartment address, and all mail must be addressed directly to the resident to ensure successful delivery.
- Mail and packages cannot be accepted before a resident’s move-in date.
In buildings without a door attendant, residents should arrange package deliveries for a time when they will be available to receive them.
- Building staff are not authorized to accept packages on behalf of residents, as most buildings do not have a secure package room.
For tips on securing package deliveries, residents are encouraged to review Public Safety's recommendations.
Columbia Residential cannot store or forward mail for former residents.
- To ensure mail is properly redirected after move-out, residents should contact the United States Postal Service (USPS) to arrange for mail forwarding.
Columbia Residential is committed to making mail and package delivery as secure and convenient as possible. By following these guidelines and planning ahead, residents can enjoy peace of mind knowing their deliveries are well managed during their stay.
