Staying connected is an important part of living in Columbia Residential housing. We want residents to have clear information about internet options in their building so they can get set up quickly and with ease. Residents can view available internet service providers by logging into the Housing Portal and reviewing the Amenities link on the Assignment page.
Columbia University Information Technology (CUIT) provides internet service, known as ApartmentNet, in most Columbia Residential buildings. This service is available in over 100 buildings with Ethernet jacks installed in each apartment. To set up a personal Wi-Fi network, residents simply need to bring their own router.
In select student apartment buildings, Wi-Fi is pre-installed for added convenience. If any issues come up, residents can contact [email protected] for troubleshooting support.
No matter which option is available in your building, Columbia Residential is here to help you get connected. If you have questions about your internet setup, please reach out to us so we can point you in the right direction.
