Columbia Residential has adopted its smoking policy to assure compliance with applicable law and University policy, and to promote the health and safety of its community.
According to the terms of the housing agreement, residents shall not smoke anywhere in the apartment, common areas, building, adjoining grounds, or other parts of Columbia Residential property. The term “smoking” means inhaling, exhaling, breathing, or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette, pipe, e-cigarette, vaporizer, hookah, marijuana cigarette, or other tobacco product or similarly lighted product in any manner or in any form.
