Housing Liaisons | Students

Columbia Residential partners with designated representatives from each eligible school, known as Housing Liaisons, to help students navigate the housing process and feel supported throughout their time in University housing. These liaisons work closely with our office to ensure that residents receive guidance tailored to their school’s policies and priorities.

Responsibilities of Housing Liaisons:

  • Housing Allocations – Determine housing approvals based on school-specific processes and priorities, including the initial allocation process and extension requests submitted through an affiliation review.
  • Resident Support – Serve as a liaison between residents and the housing office, providing student support, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with housing and university policies.
  • Communication – Act as the primary point of contact between residents, their respective schools, and Columbia Residential to clarify housing policies and address concerns.
