Housing Liaisons | Faculty & Postdocs

Columbia Residential works with designated representatives from each eligible school, known as Housing Liaisons, to facilitate housing information and support residents.

Responsibilities of Housing Liaisons:

  • Housing Allocations: For postdocs only, liaisons determine housing approvals based on school-specific processes and priorities, including the initial allocation process and extension requests submitted through an affiliation review.
  • Resident Support: Serve as a liaison between residents and the housing office, providing resident support, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with housing and university policies.
  • Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between residents, their respective schools, and Columbia Residential to clarify housing policies and address concerns.
