All Columbia University campuses, including buildings, facilities, and grounds, are private property. Filming within Columbia Residential buildings, apartments, suites, or common areas is strictly prohibited unless prior approval has been obtained from University Event Management.
To minimize disruption and ensure compliance with University policies, all filming requests must include a formal application and receive formal approval before filming can begin.
Columbia film students, recognized student clubs or organizations, and independent students interested in filming on campus must complete the Event Management Student Film Application.
All individuals or groups requesting to film must follow the University's established guidelines.
