Residents are required to comply with all current and future city, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as all rules outlined in the housing agreement, any future reasonable policies established by Columbia Residential, and Columbia University Policies. Residents are responsible for their own conduct, as well as the behavior of their immediate family members and any visiting guests.
Additionally, residents must adhere to the legitimate requests of university officials acting in the performance of their duties.
For faculty and postdocs failure to comply may result in loss of eligibility for future housing through Columbia Residential, and, if warranted, legal action.
