Anissa Timothy-Caesar has worked for Columbia University for over 25 years. She started as a summer worker and was offered a full-time position when she graduated college. Anissa has had the pleasure of working across all divisions of Columbia Residential. Being able to do so has given her an appreciation for every facet of what Columbia Residential, formerly known as UAH (University Apartment Housing) and REM (Real Estate Management), does. At present, she is the liaison for couples and families coming into housing as well as students wishing to sublet their current unit. Anissa was an instrumental part of the team that rolled out the first automated housing selection and transfer processes. Being able to work directly with students to supply a need has been and will continue to be the greatest part of her job.
